Please come to your appointment with clean lashes!!! You can ask your therapist for eye make-up remover on arrival. Make up remover and pads are usually available in waiting area. Every lash bath takes time away from actual lashing and can result in lashes not lasting as long.

The following are factors that may require infills more frequently and extensions are best to be booked with our senior technician.

-Hooded Eye
-Deep set eye
-Oily skin
-Small eyes
-Use of make up
-Use of oils or cream products around the eye are
-Rubbing and/or touching
-Hormone imbalance

Allergic reaction
Unfortunately an allergic reaction can happen at any given time, even though i have had eyelash extensions applied previously.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS ?

Using a soft bristle brush and eyelash extension cleaning foam. Clean daily if you wear make up otherwise every 2nd day. Getting into this habit removes traces of natural oils, dust, and make-up. This prevents any build-ups of skin cells on your lash line suffocating the new lashes and making them weak. We recommend you use our Beautylashious lash shampoo and brush. You can purchase them on one of your visits to our salon.

Aftercare

TEETH WHITENING AFTERCARE

Foods to Avoid After Teeth Whitening

The first 48 hours after the treatment is critical. So you need to be more aware of your food intake as there are certain types of food that discolour your teeth. Avoid them during this time.

These include but are not limited to the following:

-Tea and coffee. These brews can stain your teeth instantly
-Dark-coloured sauces. Avoid red pasta sauce, soy sauce, barbecue sauce
Fruit juice.
-Dark chocolate. This contains caffeine and thus could stain your teeth
-Acidic food. Lemons, oranges, and other citrus fruits should be avoided. These are acidic or sour foods that can weaken your enamel
As a general rule of thumb, don’t take any food or drink that will stain a white shirt for 48 hours after teeth whitening.

If you must insist on drinking coffee or soda or other dark-coloured drinks, just use a straw instead of sipping directly from your mug. By using a straw, the liquid will not come in contact with your teeth.

So what’s safe to eat after this orthodontic treatment?

-White-colored vegetables
-White meat
-Colorless beverages
-Non-acidic fruits

SPRAY TAN INSTRUCTION

-Please shave or wax your legs the night before your tan.
-Exfoliate THOROUGHLY as well. This will remove dead skin and provide a new, smooth surface for your tan. Exfoliating helps to promote even coverage and lengthens the duration of the tan.
-Do not use moisturiser ! lotions leave a film on your skin that directly leads to a blotchy tan.

-Remove make-up, moisturizer, perfume and deodorant before your application.
-It is recommended that you wear dark, loose fitting clothing.

-Solution washes out of most clothing very easily but tends to stain nylon and Lycra materials; therefore, dark colored underwear is recommended.
-A woman’s tan can be directly affected by her hormones. Considering her cycle, it can cause blotchiness or the color not to develop as dark as normally. It’s not common, but it happens.

Wet V.S. Dry Healing

This is where things get misconstrued. Many artists tell their clients not to wash the area for the entire healing time. Client’s mistake this for a “dry healing method” in actuality, this is what the different healing methods are:

The wet healing method - applying a product to the area after washing the area

The dry healing method - not applying any product to the area after washing the area.

But, what method actually promotes best healing?

The wet method of daily washing to reduce the buildup of bacteria and dead skin coupled with the application of an aftercare product allows the skin to heal fastest and so your beautiful artwork can show thru.

Applying Bepanthen Aftercare will help to produce the proper cells to regenerate the surrounding tissues. It can also help the production of collagen, a protein that is essential for the proper healing and regeneration of damaged tissue. The method consists of daily cleansing of the injured skin to prevent bacterial buildup, as well as the application of a healing ointment.
